Character Name: Gujin Hisaki
Age: 23
Class: Thief/Spy
Description/Pic: Gujin stands about 5' 9, with brown hair, brown eyes, and no facial hair. He wears a green cargo vest, and red pants. Accompanying this a blue cloak he's usually seen wearing. It has a light bit of armor plating around the inside, providing a small amount of protection, and if all else fails a weight to drop on or throw at someone. His weapon is a shovel that appears to be worn around the shovel-head, but it's very solid all around. He also has a distinguishing feature is a green uppercase B tattooed on the back of his right hand, signifying he is banished from Melas.
Birth Nation: Unknown, Presumed to be Melas
Class weapon: Shovel. A very sturdy shovel.
History: Gujin's recorded life officially began when he was adopted from an orphanage at the age of 6 by a Melasian Knight by the name of Alan Gado(discussed later), who was looking for a boy to take in and eventually send off the the military, his wife having recently died after childbirth which produced a girl, Shinra(also discussed later).
Gujin was found wielding a shovel he had supposedly found to protect himself from the bigger kids. Of course the shovel was far to large for him, but he apparently wielded it well enough, garnering respect. On this basis Gado took him in. Gujin soon grew, but not exactly how his 'father' wanted him to. Instead of bulking up but slowing down, Gujin leaned more towards the speed end of the spectrum. He still had muscle, but he concentrated on being nimble and reactive, instead of powerful and sluggish like Gado. He also continued to use his shovel instead of conventional weaponry, using the powerful back of the shovel-head to KO opponents with one good swipe to the head.
Needless to say, this didn't sit well with Gado. Gujin couldn't possibly move under the armor Knights wore, or use the weapons associated with them. His 18th birthday fast approaching, Gujin was presented an alternative to the Army: Spying. He was the perfect build for it, so why not? Taking up the offer immediately, Gujin officially became a Spy of Melas and was trained in the way of spying and such, picking up a few...less than lawful habits on the side. Pickpocketing a few extra coins and such. His 20th birthday came, along with his graduation to full-fledged Spy(There's training and stuff, y'know), Gujin was contacted by a mysterious source, offering him a seemingly easy job for an enormous amount of money. All he had to do was do some snooping around in the Army's files, nothing serious apparently, in and out before you know it. And the money...Gujin quickly accepted, confident in his abilities to go undetected.
And so Gujin went on this mission, his first ever, and wouldn't you know it, he got caught. He'd been set up! A heavy concentration of guards had apparently been diverted to the very room he'd been told to search, just for the occasion. And it turns out the things he'd been told to retrieve were serious, very serious indeed. There was no choice for the king but Banishment for treason. Gado was absolutely baffled by this turn of events, taking a leave of absence from his post to think things over. Meanwhile, Gujin had been banished to the desert land of Karnak. He couldn't believe he'd been set up like that...and so easily! But now was not the time for regretting past decisions. He had to find a way to survive, and he did. Setting up camp near the borders of both Nydros and Melas, Gujin started patrolling the borders, using his spy/thief skills to rob those passing though without getting discovered. "The Border Bandit" has been plaguing the said border for the past 3 years, occasionally going into Nydros to buy supplies, but always keeping his identity hidden, going over and over again in his mind about how it came to this...
OOC:...Damn, that's a biggun. Didn't mean for it to be 4 paragraphs...Ah well.
